Step configuration
The following settings available for the "Step configuration" are activated when the package
is executed:

Archive
The settings for the creation of archives before and after execution of the step tree are specified
by the project engineer and not displayed during the package execution.
The archives can be used for the diagnostics. They are not required for the production or the
upgrade of a machine.

button (Show/hide inactive dialogs) shows or hides dialogs not used in this
button (Display associated system variables) opens the "Step tree - system
Clicking the button opens the "List of step configurations (*.upcfg)" dialog.
Step configurations (*.upcfg and/or *.uss) can be inserted or linked at "List".
Note
For compatibility reasons, uss files for earlier CMC versions are supported.
The lists are also saved in the package during deployment and can be selec‐
ted during package execution.
Such a list can be exported in the project folder in the Steps tab (Page 225).
Select a step configuration that is to be preselected for package execution.
