Configuring Network Interfaces with Voyager

After you complete the startup configuration by using DHCP or a console
connection, you can access Voyager to configure the remaining network ports.
This section describes how to configure network interfaces for your Ethernet
card and provides additional resources for using Voyager.
To open Voyager
1. Start Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer on the host you
want to use to complete configuration.
2. In the Location or Address field, enter the IP address of the initial
interface you configured on the appliance.
You are prompted to enter the admin username and the password you
entered earlier (see

If the username pop-up menu does not appear, you might not have a
network connection between the host and your IP500 appliance.
Confirm the information you entered during the initial configuration
and check that all cables are firmly connected.

As you use Voyager, the Voyager Reference Guide and Voyager inline help are
available for you to use.
