Meaning
Debug mode. Enters the kernel debugger as soon as
possible in the kernel initialization.
Single-user mode. If the console is marked as insecure,
the root password must be entered to access the
manager.
Verbose mode. Verbose during device probing and
thereafter.
Do not identify the flash disk as wd0. This command is
always needed for the IP500 Series appliances and is
automatically entered by the boot manager.
