Description
For phone book requests to work
correctly, authentication policy must
be enabled on the Default Subzone
and any other relevant subzone;
authentication must also be enabled
on the Default Zone if the endpoints
are not registered
H.323 is enabled in a zone with a
SIP media encryption mode of
"Force encrypted" or "Force
unencrypted"
A zone has a SIP media encryption
mode of "Best effort" or "Force
encrypted" but the transport is not
TLS. TLS is required for encryption.
A subzone has a SIP media
encryption mode of "Best effort" or
"Force encrypted" but TLS is not
enabled. TLS is required for
encryption.
DNS zones (including <zone_
name>) have their SIP default
transport protocol set to <protocol>,
but that protocol is disabled system-
wide.
There is an insufficient number of
media ports to support the number
of licensed calls
Some B2BUA service specific
configuration has changed,
however a restart is required for this
to take effect
The port on B2BUA for VCS
communications is misconfigured
Invalid trusted host IP address of
Lync device
The port on B2BUA for Lync
communications is misconfigured
The Lync signaling destination
address is misconfigured
The Lync signaling destination

Solution
Set authentication policy to either
"Check credentials" or "Treat as
authenticated" for the Default
Subzone and each relevant subzone
and zone
On the relevant zone, either disable
H.323 or select a different SIP media
encryption mode
On the relevant zone, either set the
SIP transport to TLS or select a
different SIP media encryption mode
Either enable TLS on the SIP
configuration page or select a
different SIP media encryption mode
for the relevant subzone or Default
Subzone
Check that the SIP default transport
protocol for the DNS zone and the
system-wide SIP transport settings
are consistent
Increase the media port range
Restart the B2BUA service
