Setting the System Clock

There are three options for setting the camera's internal clock: manually setting the time,
synching with the computer time, or synching with an NTP server time.
To synchronize the camera time with the computer:

Security Settings

This section contains instructions for configuring user settings, network security settings
(HTTPS and IEEE 802.1X), and the IP address filter settings.
Set the time that daylight saving time changes will take effect in the Start time and End
time fields. The format for the time fields is [hh:mm:ss], and uses the 24-hour clock. For
instance, if the DST should start at 11:30pm, enter 23:30:00 in the Start time field.
Click Save to save your DST settings.
Navigate to the System tab
Select the Sync with computer time option to set the time to sync with the computer and
click Save.
Navigate to the System tab
Select the Manual option and enter the date and time you want to set in the corresponding
Date and Time fields.
Click Save to set the time.
Navigate to the System tab
Select the Sync with NTP server option to set the time to sync with the NTP server. Type
the NTP server host name or IP address in the NTP server field.
Select to update the time/date every hour, day or week with the Update interval
drop-down list and click Save. For additional information, visit www.ntp.org.
