To use Y-cable protection for GE_XP, 10GE_XP, GE_XPE, and 10GE_XPE cards, the cards must be
provisioned in 10GE MXP, 20GE MXP, or 10GE TXP mode. Y-cable protection cannot be used for GE_XP,
10GE_XP, GE_XPE, and 10GE_XPE cards that are provisioned in L2-over-DWDM mode.

the Y-cable modules to the client devices.
