Turning Up a Node
The port number for secure TL1 is 4083. The port number for non-secure TL1 is3083.
Note
Stop. You have completed this procedure.
OpenSSH Version
The OpenSSH version that is currently supported is 3.5.9.1 and will be upgraded in a future release.
Note
The OpenSSH has been upgraded to Cisco SSH Release 1.4.

Step 1
In node view (single-shelf mode) or multishelf view (multishelf mode), click the Provisioning > SNMP tabs.
Step 2
In the Trap Destinations area, click Create.
Step 3
Complete the following in the Create SNMP Trap Destination dialog box.
• Destination IP Address—Type the IP address of your network management system (NMS). If the node
EPNM-based interfaces need to be updated with the correct port details for the node.
Use any SSH client on Windows.
you are logged into is an ENE, set the destination address to the GNE.
Note
You can configure IPv6 addresses for SNMPv2/v3 trap destinations and SNMPv3 proxy targets,
in addition to IPv4 addresses.
This procedure provisions the SNMP parameters so
that you can use SNMP management software with
the ONS 15454.
