Prerequisites for ANCP Enhancement for Ethernet OAM

ANCP and its supported and intended deployments require the interworking of the following
components: TCP, IP, PPP and PPPoX, L2TP, ISG, Policy Manager, QoS, AAA and RADIUS, and
802.1Q-in-Q VLAN Tag Termination.
Cisco IOS Release 12.2(15)BX supports interactions with the RADIUS server from the broadband
remote access server (BRAS). Interactions from RADIUS to the BRAS are not required for ANCP and
are dependent on the RADIUS server.

This feature was introduced and implemented on the Cisco 10000 series
router.
Support was added for the PRE3.
This feature was integrated into Cisco IOS Release 12.2(34)SB for the
PRE3 and PRE4.
