EOD Search
MRK (Mark) Search
This function searches for the EOD. This is convenient when starting to record new data
from the end of the last recording block. Press the FF key to start EOD search, the tape
stops at the EOD and the EOD LED lights.

Pressing the MRK/SLF key at any tape position, allows that position to be searched later.

When the MRK/SLF key is pressed in the REC or FWD mode, the tape position
information for that location is stored in the recorder's memory, and is held until the
next time the MRK/SLF key is pressed.

To select the mark search mode, press the SEARCH key and then the MRK/SLF key.
The target is searched and the search operation ends.
Note
• Each time the MRK/SLF key is pressed the tape position information is updated.
• When using a slow tape speed (1/4, 1/8, 1/16), the marked point may be offset from
the target by a maximum of 3 seconds in the realtime clock value.
