15 Remote Control Unit

The recorder can be operated from a distance by connecting the remote control unit SRM-
10 (sold separately).
Functions
Command functions
The remote control unit can output the following commands to the recorder:
• Tape transport mode setting
• Input range setting (per channel or all channels at once)
• Input DC offset setting (per channel or all channels at once)
• ID increment
• Monitor channel setting
• Search (ID search, EOD search)
Monitoring Functions
The remote control unit can display the following states of the recorder:
• Loading status
• Tape transport mode
• Channel mode
• Tape speed
• Signal level per channel (bar meter)
• Over-range
• Input range
• Input DC offset
• ID number
• Monitor channel
• Test signal type
• External time code signal level
• Tape position information
• Alarm display
• Error code
