Use BNC cables (sold separately) to connect the ANALOG OUTPUT connectors and
the analysis monitor equipment, and the LSB DIGITAL OUTPUT connectors and the
monitor equipment respectively.
Analog channel
: Load impedance of above 10 k is recommended.
LSB digital channel : Load impedance of above 1 k is recommended.

Select the tape speed with the SPD/BCM key. The selected SPD LED lights.

Insert a pre-recorded tape into the recorder and press the FWD key. The recorder enters
the FWD (playback) mode and the data on the tape is played back.

The tape speed during recording appears in the SPEED area, and the tape position
information appears in the tape position display area of the LCD screen.

The input setting and recording tape speed set during recording is also played back
simultaneously. This makes it easy to check the conditions set during recording.

CAUTION
• Noise may be generated if data between recording blocks is played back.
• Data recorded by SIR-1000/1000i cannot be played back.
• It takes max. 2 seconds from the start of playback when to set input setting the same as
the settings recorded on tape.
