Lights up when the DEW function is ON and condensation occurs in the tape running
system such as when the recorder is transferred from cold to warm places.
Turn the STAND BY switch to ON and warm up the recorder until this mark goes off,
without inserting a cartridge.
Recorder State
When internal temperature is less than 5 °C
When internal temperature is 50 °C or more
During detection of dew condensation
When condensation is detected
During clearing of dew condensation

CAUTION
• In environment where the temperature or humidity may change, be sure to turn ON the
DEW function.
• After using the recorder, eject the cartridge and then turn OFF the STAND BY switch
to prevent tape sticking to the scanning head drum due to condensation during storage.
• Leave a space of at least 50 mm between the both side of the recorder and any other
object.

Displayed until internal temperature rises 5 °C or more
Displayed until internal temperature falls less than 50 °C
