ABOUT CONVENIENT DIALLING
Auto Dialling
This model has an easy to use auto dialling feature. Frequently used fax numbers and names can be entered, easily dialed to
send faxes, and searched. (See page 2-7)
Rapid Dialling (35 rapid keys available)
By simply pressing a rapid key (01 to 35) you can dial
the number stored for that rapid key. You can store a
recipient's name using up to 20 characters.
Speed Dialling (150 speed dial numbers
available)
By pressing the SPEED DIAL key, a 3-digit number (000
to 149), and the START key, you can dial the number
stored for that speed dial number.
Search Dialling
By pressing the SEARCH DIAL key you can search rapid
keys or speed dial numbers for a number that you have
forgotten,display the numer on the message display and
dial. To perform search dialing use the following
procedure.
1. Press the SEARCH DIAL key.
2. Enter the first few characters of the recipients name
(you can skip this step).
3. Press the ENTER key.
4. Select the recipient's phone number using the left arrow
key (
) or right arrow key (
5. Press the START key.
Group Dialling (maximum 35 keys)
Rapid keys and speed dial numbers can be entered into
one group dial key. This is useful for sending faxes to
many recipients in order.
*There is a total of 35 keys available for rapid keys and
group dial keys.
When using auto dialling, you must first enter the recipient's name and phone number.

Note
To avoid wrong numbers and mis-sent faxes when using auto dialling, look at the display when you
enter the numbers to confirm that they are correct. Also, after entering the numbers print out a
telephone number list (See page 5-3) and group list (See page 5-4) then double-check that the
numbers you entered are correct.
