Using the Original Table
When sending a fax from the original table, set the
original on the original table, close the document feeder

Set the original on the original table.
Open the document feeder cover and place the original face down on
the original table.

Place the original according to the sizes marked in the illustration below.

You can set sheet-type originals or book-type originals on the original
table.
When using the original table, do not set originals in the
SPF.

Confirm the original size.
If your originals are of a non-standard size, press the ORIGINAL
SIZE ENTER key to select the sending size you want. The indicator
for the size you chose lights up and the machine scans the original.

A3, B4, A4, A4R and A5 are standard sizes. If the

original is one of these sizes, the size is automatically
detected.
When setting non-standard size originals (including
extra sizes) check that the original size that you have
selected is suitable for your original. If the original
size that you selected is smaller than the size of your
original, part of the original is cut off. Using the
ORIGINAL SIZE ENTER key, select a size that is
larger than your original. (Sometimes when setting
non-standard size originals, the original size indicator
does not light up).
