ENTERING INFORMATION AND SETTING PROGRAMS (P101-P161)
P131 OWN PASSCODE SET
Use program P131 to enter your own name and telephone number. The name and telephone number that you enter here is
printed on the recipient's copy of faxes you send. You can register only one name and telephone number.
You can print out the name and telephone number that you entered.
When you enter P131, the following message is displayed.
P131:OWN PASSCODE

If you previously entered a telephone number, the new number that you enter becomes effective and the old one is
erased.
Enter the telephone number using the numeric keys.

If you make a mistake entering the number, pressing the CLEAR key erases characters one at a time. Enter the
correct number from the last character erased.

The following message is displayed.
ENTER NAME
If you previously entered a name, the new name that you enter becomes effective and the old one is erased.
Enter the name using the character entry keys.

The name can contain up to 40 characters.

How to Erase the Name and Telephone Number

PRESS START TO CLEAR
If a name or telephone number was not previously entered, you return to the user program initial display.
