You can send originals other than the standard sizes (A3, B4, A4/A4R, A5).
* About long originals...
Note
The length of originals is limited by the maximum amount of memory for scanning, which in turn
depends on the scanning resolution and original size. Use the following table to reduce the resolution
and length of originals.

When sending a fax, be careful because the area of the original scanned by the fax is slightly smaller than the actual original
size.

Fax Original Automatic Reduction Sizes
When the original you are sending is wider than the fax paper in the receiving fax machine, the size is automatically reduced.
You can also send faxes without automatic reduction, however the edges of the image will be cut off. (See page Appendix-18)
