3.6.4 Fire Extinguishing System (Standard)

● Semi-annual maintenance of the fire extinguishing system involves system
commissioning. Before the maintenance, inform the related administrative
departments that the fire extinguishing system will be maintained and stop
working.
● Before the maintenance, disconnect all cables to fire cylinder electromagnetic
valves to avoid extinguishant release and damage to equipment due to
misoperations.
● After the maintenance, reconnect the cables to fire cylinder electromagnetic
valves and inform the administrative departments that the fire extinguishing
system has resumed.
Issue 01 (2021-04-20)
Check Standard
Off: The power supply is
abnormal.
Blinking at long intervals: The
device successfully registers
with the ECC800-Pro and the
software runs properly (the
indicator blinks at 0.5 Hz, on
for 1s and then off for 1s).
Blinking at short intervals: The
communication is disconnected
or the device fails to register
with the ECC800-Pro (the
indicator blinks at 4 Hz, on for
0.125s and then off for 0.125s).
Blinking: The indicator blinks at
super short intervals for 0.5s
(blinking at 10 Hz, on for 0.05s
and then off for 0.05s) and
then turns off for 0.5s. The
cycle lasts for 10s.
Steady on: A fault alarm is
raised.
Off: No fault alarm is raised.
An alarm is raised on the
ECC800 WebUI.

3 Routine Maintenance
Troubleshooting
If the RUN indicator is off,
check the power supply.
If the RUN indicator blinks at
short intervals, check whether
the communications cable is
loose or disconnected. If so,
reconnect the cable.
Clear alarms by referring to
the ECC800-Pro documents.
If no alarm is raised, replace
the water sensor.
