Features, Templates, Services, and Users
Feature
Description
Session Handoff
Allows users to switch calls from a mobile phone to Cisco
Unified devices that share the same line. Handsets on all
the devices on the shared line then flash simultaneously.
After a user answers the call from one of the Cisco Unified
devices, the other Cisco Unified devices that share the
same line display a Remote in Use message. However, if
the call fails to switch from the mobile phone, the mobile
phone might display a Cannot Move Conversation
message.
Shared Line
Allows a user to have several phones that share the same
phone number or allows a user to share a phone number
with a coworker.
Silent Monitoring
Allows a supervisor to silently monitor an active call. The
supervisor cannot be heard by either party on the call.
The user might hear a monitoring audible alert tone during
a call when it is being monitored.
When a call is secured, the security status of the call is
displayed as a lock icon on Cisco Unified IP Phones. The
connected parties might also hear an audible alert tone
that indicates the call is secured and is being monitored.
Note
Single Button Barge
Allows users to press a line key to Barge or cBarge into
a remote-in-use call on a shared line.
SIP Phone No Alert
Identifies the original source of a transferred call. The
Name
call appears on the call display as an Alert Call followed
by the original caller telephone number.
When an active call is being monitored or
recorded, you can receive or place intercom calls;
however, if you place an intercom call, the active
call will be put on hold, which causes the
recording session to terminate and the monitoring
session to suspend. To resume the monitoring
session, the party whose call is being monitored
must resume the call.
