Chapter 3 Installing the Cisco 10008 Router

Auxiliary Modem Connection

This asynchronous EIA/TIA-232 serial port is used to connect a modem to the PRE for remote
administrative access. Use the following procedure to connect the Cisco 10008 router to a modem.
