There are five styles of AC-input power supply power cords available (differing in plug type); make sure
you have the correct style for your site (see
power supply power cords measure 14 feet (4.3 m). Cisco recommends that you:
Install an uninterruptible power source where possible.
Install proper grounding to avoid damage from lightning and power surges (see
