B.6 Security Setup Menu
Main Advanced
Password Description
If ONLY the Administrator's password is set,
then this only limits access to Setup and is
only asked for when entering Setup.
If ONLY the User's password is set, then this
is a power on password and must be entered to
boot or enter Setup. In Setup, the User will
have Administrator rights.
Setup Administrator Password
User Password
The Security setup provides both a Supervisor and a User password. If you use
both passwords, the Supervisor password must be set first.
The system can be configured so that all users must enter a password every time
the system boots or when setup is executed, using either the Supervisor password
or User password.

To reset the security in the case of a forgotten password, you must clear the
NVRAM and reconfigure.
Refer to Section 1.7.1 Clear CMOS/RTC/Password on page 31 for instructions on
clearing the CMOS.
