Once the EK280 has successfully detected the encoder, it will display
the meter reading of the gas meter with the description "Vo":
Serv.
Unlike the "Auto Detect" function, you can also select the connected
encoder type directly under "Md.I1".
Serv.
The following encoder types can be selected:
Md.I1
Enc.Namur a
Enc.SCR EDIS
Enc.SCR OBIS
Enc.Nam. a-b
5.3.1.4
Adjusting the parameters for the high frequency pulse
transducer of the gas meter
If a high frequency pulse transducer is connected as per 5.2.1.3, the input
mode and the cp value should be adjusted as follows:
1. Adjusting the input mode:
Move the cursor to the "Serv." register and to the input mode "Md.I1"
via the following path:
Serv.
Press the ENTER button.  The set value will start to flash.
Press one of the arrow keys  or until the text "HF pulses" starts to
flash.
Press the ENTER button to confirm the set value. The input value
can be deleted by pressing the ESC button.
2. Adjusting the cp value (pulse constant):
Move the cursor to the cp value "cp.I1" via the same path.
Press the ENTER button.  The value will start to flash.
Move the cursor using the arrow keys  or  to the digits and
change these using the arrow keys  or .
Press the ENTER button to confirm the set value. The input value
can be deleted by pressing the ESC button.
