Ring-to-Groove Clearance
After installing a new set of rings, measure the ring-to-
groove clearances:
Top Ring Clearance
Standard lNew): 0.035 - 0.060 mm
{0.0014 - 0.0024 in}
Servic. Limit:
0.13 mm (0.005 inl
Second Ring Clearance
Standard (Now): 0.030 - 0.055 mm
(0.0012 - 0.0022 io)
Service Limit:
0.13 mm 10.005 inl

Alignment
1, Install the rings as shown.
Piston Ring Dimensions:

Top Ring (Standatd):
A: 2.6 mm {0.10 in}
B: 1.0 mm (0.0/t in)
Second Ring {Standard):
A: 3.0 mm (0.12 inl
B: 1.2 mm (0.05 inl
NOTE: The manufacturing marks must be facing
upward.
