Make sure the transmission is in the E position.
F i l l t h e t r a n s m i s s i o n w i t h C V T F l u i d , a n d r u n t h e
engine for 30 seconds or until approximately 0.95 /
( 1 . 0 U S q t . , 0 . 8 l m p q t . ) i s d i s c h a r g e d .
R e m o v e t h e d r a i n h o s e , a n d r e c o n n e c t t h e c o o l e r
return hose to the transmission (see page l4 287).
Refill the transmission with CVT Fluid to the proper
l e v e l ( s e e p a g e ' 1 4 2 3 1 ) .

TOOL MAINTENANCE
'1. Empty and rinse after each use. Fill the can with water
and pressurize the can. Flush the discharge line to
e n s u r e t h a t t h e u n i t i s c l e a n .

lf discharge liquid does not foam, the orifice may be
blocked.
3 . T o c l e a n , d i s c o n n e c t t h e p l u m b i n g f r o m t h e t a n k a t
t h e l a r g e c o u p l i n g n u t .

ORIFICE
Remove the in-line filter from the discharge side and
clean if necessary.
The tluid orifice is located behind the filter. Clean it
with the pick stored in the bottom of the tank han
dle, or blow it clean with air. Securely reassemble
all parts.
