TOROUE CONVERTER
Full Lock-up

Lock-up Control Solenoid Valve A: ON
.
Lock-up Control Solenoid Valve B: ON
.
Linear Solenoid Pressure: High
When the vehicle speed further inc.eases, the linear
solenoid pressure is increased to high in accordance
with the linear solenoid controlled by the PCM.
The lock-up timing valve overcomes th€ spring force
and moves to the left side. Also. this valve closes the
fluid port leading to the left side of the lock-up control
Under this condition, the modulator pressure in the left
s i d e o f t h e l o c k - u p c o n t r o l v a l v e h a d a l r s a d y b e a n
released by the lock-up control solenoid valve 8; the
lock-up control valve is moved to the left side. As this
t a k e s p l a c e , t h e t o r q u e c o n v e r t e r b a c k p r e s s u r e i s
released fully, causing the lock-up clutch to be engaged
fully.
NOTE: When used, "|eft" and "right" indicat€s direction
on the hvdraulic circuit,
