DTC Pl168 is stored.
Problem vedficalion:
1. Do the ECM Reset Procedure.
2. Start the engine.
3. Wait at least two minutes.

ls DTC P1168 indicated?
Check the ECM:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the ECM connec-
tor D (16P).
3. Check for continuity between
E C M c o n n e c t o r t e r m i n a l D 7
and body ground.
Substitute a known-good ECM
.nd rcchack. lf aymptom/indica-
tion goes swsy. r6place th6 origi-
nal ECM.
Check for a short in the wires
(LABEL lin.l:
1. Disconnect the Primary HO2S
(Sensor 1) 8P connector-
2. Check for continuity betlveen
ECM connector terminal D7
and body ground.
Replace th6 Primary HO2S lsen-
sor 11.
ls there continuity?
Ropair short in thg wir6 botweon
tho Pfimary HO2S (Sensor 1l and
ECM tD7).
Wire side of female terminals
