You use the syntax in
configuring ports for E1 operation on a 24-Port Channelized E1/T1 line card.
You can configure a maximum of 744 channelized E1 interfaces on the 24 line card ports (24 ports x 31
E1 timeslots). To do this, you assign a channel-group number to the timeslots of the E1 interface you
configure at each port (see the
