5.1 Setting Parameters on the CIM WebUI

Prerequisites



Procedure
Step 1 Connect a straight-through cable from the PC network port to the PoE port on the smart ETH
gateway.

Operating system: Windows XP or later
Browser: Internet Explorer 9 or later, FireFox 43 or later, and Chrome 41 or later
The IP addresses, subnet masks, and gateways for the PC and CIM are in the same
network segment.
The default settings of the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway are as follows:

IP address: 192.168.0.10
 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
 Gateway: 192.168.0.1
