The optical fiber between the CCPM in slot 3 in the basic cabinet and the LECM
in slot 2 in the extension cabinet
The optical fiber between the CCPM in slot 5 in the basic cabinet and the
LECM in slot 4 in the extension cabinet
4.8.3 Installing GPS RF Cable
To install a GPS RF cable, proceed as follows:
1)
Choose a cable with one end connected to the GPS_1 connector on the top of
the basic cabinet. The cable is marked with GPS_1.
2)
Connect the other end of the cable to the 10 M interface of the BCKM.
3)
Measure the distance between the GPS_1 connectors of the basic and
extension cabinets.
4)
Cut the GPS RF cable as needed according to the measured distance.
5)
Prepare the connectors of the GPS RF cable.
The two ends of the cable are connected to the GPS_1 connectors of the basic
and extension cabinets respectively.
6)
Choose a cable with one end connected to the GPS_1 connector on the top of
the extension cabinet. The label of the cable is marked with GPS_1.
7)
Connect the other end of the cable to the 10 M IN interface of the TMCM.
