Purpose: Sets conference groups for stations. Only stations set to use conference
groups in
MMC 612
groups. The maximum number of members per conference group is four, excluding the
station itself. Each group can be allocated a name.
Names are written using the keypad. Each key press moves the cursor and enters the
selected character.* For example, press the number "6" once to get the letter "M" or the
number "3" twice to get the letter "E." Continue selecting characters from the keypad to
complete your message. Press the programmable
lower case text. (Refer to
* Tip: When the character you want is on the same key as the previous character you typed in,
press the VOLUME Up key to move the cursor to the right, then select the character.
The # key can be used for the following special characters (in sequence of key presses):

1. Open programming and select 118
Display shows
2. Dial keyset number (e.g., 205)
OR
Press VOLUME keys to select station and press
RIGHT soft key to move cursor
3. Dial group number (1–5) e.g. 1

Press VOLUME keys to select number and press
RIGHT soft key to move cursor
4. Dial 0 to enter a group name (see step 5a) or dial
1–4 to enter a number for group member MBR1–4
(see step 5b)
OR
Press VOLUME keys to select option (NAME or
MBR1–4) and press RIGHT soft key to move
cursor
5(a) To enter the group name, use the procedure de-
scribed above and press RIGHT soft key
