Recording Tone

The Recording Tone feature indicates whether a recording tone is enabled or disabled for the phone. If this
feature is enabled, all parties on a call hear the tone being played, regardless of whether the call is recorded
or not. The tone first sounds when a call is answered.
Note
Other related parameters — the recording tone frequency (in hz), the duration of the beep tone, and the beep
tone interval (how often the beep tone plays) — are defined on a per-Network Locale basis in the xml file
that defines tones. This xml file is named tones.xml or g3-tones.xml.
