Always Discard rubber seals, plastic lock nuts and spring washers.
Discard washers, nuts, special nut SPIRALOCK (01-020) and screws that are damaged.
Replace the bearings (01-590) if they are removed.

COMPONENT MAINTENANCE MANUAL
INSPECTION/CHECK
WHEN YOU EXAMINE THE PARTS, DISCARD THOSE THAT ARE DAMAGED.
Examine the surface condition of all the parts for signs of corrosion.
Examine all the parts for abrasion, cracks, distortion and scratches.
NOTE: Make sure that there is no interference between the impeller (01-010) and the
equipped housing (01-640).
Examine all the sealing surfaces for indentations, nicks and scratches.
Examine all the threads for damage.
Examine all the threaded inserts, and replace them if they are damaged.
Do a check of the new bearings (01-590).
NOTE: Make sure that there is no lubricant leakage in their packing.
