Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network

The Genesis Touch is set to cellular communications when it is shipped from the
factory. Connecting to a Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) network is optional.
If you have authorization to utilize a Wi-Fi network connection, check that a stable
Internet connection is present, the correct Wi-Fi password is being used to connect
to the network. If a Wi-Fi Internet network is not password protected, check with
your organization's privacy policy prior to connecting the Genesis Touch.
Once you have set up a Wi-Fi network in the Genesis Touch, the login and password
will be saved, and the monitor will attempt to connect to this network whenever it is
in range.
Note: Note: It is possible for a monitor to be connected to a wireless network but not to the
Internet or LifeStream. When this occurs, cellular data will not transmit readings as a
backup if the monitor remains connected to a network. Ensure a Wi-Fi Internet
connection is reliable, and test vital sign data transmission during setup.
To connect to a Wi-Fi network, continue to the next page.
