Verifying Communication Settings
Your organization has been assigned a unique 7-digit PIN number that identifies your mailbox within
LifeStream. Each deployed Genesis Touch monitor transmits its patient data to this mailbox and
LifeStream checks this address to retrieve the data.
Note:
PIN numbers are provided during in-service training. If you do not have your PIN number, contact
Customer Service.
To verify your PIN number, from the Advanced Settings screen, select Communications. A screen appears
showing your information.
Enabling and Disabling Video
The basic Fuze Meeting application, which provides video conferencing capability, is available on the
Genesis Touch monitor. Care providers must have a Fuzebox license to host a video conference, however
the basic application, which is installed on the Genesis Touch, allows users to attend video conferences
hosted by a license holder.
Refer to Setting Up Video in the Getting Started manual for instructions for setting up one-touch video and
to Fuzebox's instructions on video conferencing.

Connecting to a Wi‐Fi Network
The Genesis Touch is set to cellular communications when it is shipped from the factory. If the patient for
whom you are assigning the monitor will use the internet (Wi-Fi) for their communications, you must
enable Wi-Fi and connect to their network. Wi-Fi is also required for video conferencing.
You will need the patient's internet password to connect to a wireless network (Wi-Fi) in their home. It is
the patient's responsibility to provide their network's password to enable access. If their network is not
password protected, no password is needed to connect.
