Genesis Touch - User Manual
It is recommended to change batteries before pairing the
H3 System Adapter with a Genesis Touch monitor. When the
red light flashes continuously during the pairing process
and does not remain lit, change the batteries in the H3
System Adapter.
As of 2016, newer orders of the Genesis Touch utilize a
larger black Ape Case® stand for improved stability. To open
the stand, hold it above a surface in your hands. Press down
on the small black tab (with a power button icon) in the top
center of the opening in the monitor stand. This action
pushes out a kickstand bar, which may be placed in any
notch of the monitor stand. Place the monitor onto the
stand as you would when displaying a picture on a tabletop
picture frame.
For more information about using this stand, go to
www.apecase.com. This is a third-party website link, and is
susceptible to change.
Do NOT pair the Genesis Touch peripherals with another
device. It is recommended to turn OFF Bluetooth® on your
phone while pairing monitoring peripherals, and to turn off
or remove any other Bluetooth® devices from the room
during the pairing procedure.
If other Bluetooth® receivers are operating nearby (mobile
phones, computers, tablets), within 3 meters (11 feet) of
monitoring equipment, ensure that the patient and the
operators of nearby Bluetooth® devices do not attempt to
pair with the blood pressure monitor or any other
monitoring equipment.
Consult the manufacturer-provided user
manual for more information about all
peripherals, and any calibration requirements.
Some peripherals used with the Genesis Touch
do NOT require calibration. Vendor-provided user manuals
are provided with each order, and online at
honeywelllifecare.com/genesistouchhelp.
We recommend establishing a regular calibration
verification schedule, with regular tests for accuracy,
according to your organizational protocols, using your own
testing equipment or standards.
Insert two charged AAA batteries before you pair a Nonin
oximeter. Remove batteries if the device will be stored for
more than 30 days. Do not use different types of batteries at
the same time. Do not mix fully charged and partially
charged batteries at the same time.
) is
Match the positive terminals of the AAA
batteries with the (+) symbol on the
device, as shown. Be careful that
batteries are inserted exactly as specified
and do not use the terminal springs as a
guideline.
