Status Menu and Remote Configuration Retrieval

The Genesis Touch can be configured for patient use from LifeStream, and a basic
configuration may also be setup from the monitor. When placing a monitor in the
home, it is recommended to retrieve a configuration first, before changing any set-
tings on the monitor. To do this quickly, utilize the Status menu:
1. From the Settings menu, select the Status button:
2. From the Status menu, select the Retrieve Configuration button.

item does not indicate the monitor is disconnected. You may need to use the down
arrow to display the Internet menu item, shown here. Confirm cellular or Wi-Fi

Checking Cellular and Wi-Fi Communication
The status bars on the Cellular and Wi-Fi sections indicate connection status.
The Status screen may assist users when troubleshooting connection issues with
the Genesis Touch monitor. For more information see Troubleshooting the Status
Screen in the Troubleshooting section.
