A library of video education from The Wellness Network is pre-loaded on new Gen-
esis Touch monitors, but care providers must enable this feature on each monitor
while preparing equipment. If you have upgraded your Genesis Touch monitoring
software from an earlier version, care providers must connect to a Wi-Fi network, to
download the educational video library to the monitor.
Patient Health Questionnaire - Care providers may assign a PHQ 2/9 from the
LifeStream Web interface, which is displayed as a set of multiple choice questions
to patients during monitoring sessions.
Wong-Baker FACES® Pain Rating Scale - The industry-standard Wong-Baker
FACES® Pain Rating Scale may be assigned to telemonitored patients dealing with
chronic pain, enabling patients to tap the face on the screen that best represents
their level of pain.
Updated Patient Guide - A patient guide offers patient guidance on accessing and
using assigned Video Education, the Wong-Baker FACES® Pain Rating Scale, and
PHQ 2/9 surveys. While our patient guides include help on all features, we encour-
age customers to print and copy portions of the guide you need.
Samsung Tablet Monitor - The Genesis Touch is now available on the Samsung
Galaxy Tab A running Android™ 8.1. New monitors will begin with a serial number
starting with A5. A Samsung Tablet manual has been added to our online archive
for reference. Electronic versions of manufacturer user manuals for each device in
your patient monitoring kit are provided online for customers.

Unpacking Your Products

When you receive your Genesis Touch kit, carefully remove each piece of equip-
ment from the box and save any packaging materials in the event you need to
return items. Your package may include different products depending on the
model and/or patient need. Assemble peripheral medical devices as necessary.
Refer to the manufacturer's instructions and safety documentation for more infor-
mation.
An optional USB extender cable connects between the end of the monitor power cord
and the power adapter unit to power the Genesis Touch. You may remove this cable if not
required, or if there is evidence of damage or malfunction.
Check each piece of equipment for damage. If anything is damaged or missing,
