*How to use the backorobe sets
Connect the backprobe adapters to the stacking patch cords, and
connect the cords to a multimetor, Using the wire insulation as a
gulde for the contoured tip ot the backprobe adapter, gentlv slide
the tip into the connector from the wire side untal it comes in con-
tact with theterminalend ofthe wire lsee section 11).

Check for an open in the wi.e:
1. Disconnect the jumper wire,
2. Turn the ignition switch ON {ll).
3. Measure the voltage between
the No. 4 terminal of the com
pressor clutch relay 4P socket
and body ground.
I s t h e r e b a t t e r y v o l t a g e ?
Chock tor an open in thg wira:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF,
then reinstall the compressor
clutch relay.
2. Nlake sure the A/C and heater
tan switches are OFF, then turn
the ignition switch ON lll).
3. Using a *Backprobe Set (T/N
07SAZ - 001000A), measure
the voltage betweon the No. 17
terminal of the ECWPCM con,
n e c t o r A { 3 2 P ) a n d b o d y
ground with the ECM/PCM con-
n6ctors connected.
Repair open in the wiro between
the compressor clutch .elay snd
rhe ECM/PCM.
ls there battery voltage?
