Expected Result
● If the PWR
indicator is steady
green, the power
input is normal.
● The RUN
indicator blinks at
long intervals,
indicating that
the device is
running properly.
● The ALM
indicator is off.
The ALM indicator is
steady on.
3 Routine Maintenance
Troubleshooting
● If the PWR
indicator is off,
check whether
the
communications
cable is loose or
disconnected or
whether the
smart ETH
gateway is not
energized. If so,
reconnect the
cable. If not,
replace the cable.
● If the RUN
indicator blinks at
short intervals,
check whether
the
communications
cable is loose or
disconnected or
whether the
smart ETH
gateway is not
energized.
● If the ALM
indicator is steady
on, check for
alarms.
If the ALM indicator
is steady on, a fault
alarm is generated
for the UIM20A
expansion module.
Check the cable
connections or
replace the UIM20A
expansion module.
