Step 2 Push the handle of the Ekip power module fuse outwards and remove the fuse to
disconnect the circuit.
Step 3 Check the Ekip power module terminals using an electroprobe to ensure that the
Ekip power module has no voltage.
Step 4 Mark corresponding port names on the cables of the Ekip power module and
COM communication module, and remove the cables.
Step 5 Remove the Ekip power module and COM communication module.

Step 6 Split the Ekip power module and COM communication module.
Step 7 Assemble the new Ekip COM communication module with the removed power
module.
Step 8 Install the Ekip power module and COM communication module, and reinstall the
wiring terminals.
Step 9 Reinstall the fuse to reconnect the circuit.

6.20 Replacing an ATS

Procedure
Step 1 Locate and record the position of the ATS fuse or upstream switch based on the
electrical diagram and label.
Step 2 Push the handle of the ATS fuse outwards and remove the fuse to disconnect the
circuit. Alternatively, turn off the upstream switch.
Step 3 Measure the ATS terminals with an electroprobe to ensure that the ATS has no
voltage.

Tools: electroprobe, insulated gloves, flat-head screwdriver, step ladder
Material: a new and intact ATS of the same model
