6.8 Replacing a Branch Monitoring Module

Prerequisites

Procedure (MCCB Output Module)
Step 1 Mark the corresponding port names on the cables of the branch monitoring
module, and remove the cables (if any).
Step 2 Loosen the captive screws on the old branch monitoring module, and pull the
handle outwards to remove the module from the subrack.

Step 3 Connect the new branch monitoring module to the MCCB output module and
reconnect the cables (if any).

Procedure (Standalone Installation)
Step 1 Mark the corresponding port names on the cables of the branch monitoring
module, and remove the cables (if any).
Step 2 Loosen the captive screws on the old branch monitoring module and remove the
module.

Tools: ESD wrist strap, ESD gloves, Phillips screwdriver, label, marker
Material: a new and intact branch monitoring module of the same model
