11. To make an adjustment, place a flat blade screwdriver in the slot of the
adjusting screw. Loosen the lock nut using a 10 mm wrench. Turn the
adjusting screw in or out to adjust the gap between the rocker arm and valve
stem. When the clearance is correct, tighten the lock nut and recheck the
clearance.
1. Install the valve cover onto the cylinder head.
2. Install the 5 (10 mm) bolts securing the valve cover to the cylinder head.
Torque bolts to 57–87 ft-lbs. (6–10 Nm).
