13. Remove the thermal control linkage from the carburetor by unhooking and
sliding the linkage retainer outward.
14. Remove the governor linkage from the governor arm by pivoting the arm
towards the front of the engine, opening the throttle wide. Then lift the
governor linkage up and away from the carburetor.
