Restrictions and precautions

The wave output function has the following restrictions and precautions.
■Output range setting
The user range cannot be used. When executing the wave output function, use the range other than the user range.
For the setting method of the output range, refer to the following.
Page 20 Range Switching Function
■Scaling function
The scaling function cannot be used in the wave output mode. When executing the wave output function, make sure to
disable the scaling function.
■Shift function
The shift function cannot be used in the wave output mode. When executing the wave output function, make sure to set 'CH1
Input value shift amount' (Un\G480) to 0.
■Rate control function
The rate control function cannot be used in the wave output mode. When executing the wave output function, make sure to
disable the rate control function.
■Analog output HOLD/CLEAR function
The operation of the analog output HOLD/CLEAR function differs from the operation in the normal output mode.

■Remote head module
When the D/A converter module is used with the remote head module, function block (FB) for registering wave output data
cannot be used. To execute the wave output function, refer to the following.

Wave data
The wave data indicate the time-series arrangement of the digital values to be output in analog. Up to 90000 points can be
used. The wave data are registered in Wave data registry area (Un\G10000 to Un\G99999).
