Appendix 6
This chapter describes restrictions and precautions for using the D/A converter module that is mounted on the extension base
unit in the redundant system.

Restrictions on functions and specifications

Functions
Function
D/A output enable/disable setting function
Interrupt function
Wave output function
Inter-module synchronization function
Backing up, saving, and restoring offset/gain values
Dedicated instructions
Any dedicated instructions of the D/A converter module cannot be used.
Module FB
Name
M+R60DAH_WaveDataStoreCsv
Module parameter
■Application setting
Set "Auto restore of Offset/gain setting with the module change" to "Disable".
Using the Module in the Redundant
System with Redundant Extension Base
Unit
Restriction
If system switching occurs while the setting change of D/A conversion enable/
disable setting is being attempted, the change may affect the D/A output
enable/disable setting with time delay. Therefore, configure the circuit to
externally disable the D/A output (turn off 'CH1 Output enable/disable flag'
(Y1)) if necessary.
The interrupt program cannot be executed.
If system switching occurs while the setting change of 'CH1 Wave output start/
stop request' (Un\G462) is being attempted, the change may take effect with
time delay. Therefore, configure the circuit to externally turn off 'CH1 Output
enable/disable flag' (Y1) if necessary, for the case where Wave output start
request is changed to Wave output stop request or Wave output pause
request.
Cannot be used.
When the function is used, proper operation cannot be guaranteed.
The function cannot be used for either of the following cases.
Availability
Cannot be used.
When the FB is used, proper operation cannot be guaranteed.
