WARNING
PERSONAL INJURY/EQUIPMENT FAILURE — Provide proper
mounting support for the wall mount. Hardware securing the wall
mount to the wall must extend through the wallboard into underlying
wooden wall studs, aluminum studs, concrete or other solid wall
material (with the use of appropriate anchors). Lag screws screwed
only into drywall, plywood, or particleboard is not acceptable. If
movement of the wall mount to line up with wall studs is not
possible, then 2x6 boards should be used to span the studs. Failure of
the ATS wall mount support could result in personal injury and/or
equipment failure.
1.
Determine the wall location for the ATS installation. The wall mount holes must
align with wall studs, or a suitable reinforcing structure, to support the weight of
the ATS and mount.
2.
Mark the locations for the wall mount screws. Drill pilot holes for the screws into
the underlying wall studs.
3.
Secure the wall mount through the wall board and into suitable support material
with 4 of the largest lag screws that will fit into the holes in the wall mount.
4.
If not already installed, secure the brackets used for handle installation to the
front sides of the ATS.
5.
Secure the ATS into the wall mount with 4 rack rail screws.
WARNING
EQUIPMENT FAILURE — Unity MC, IX and RX network
connections must be made in order to successfully power up the
ATS.
All the following connections are ethernet-based, and require a RJ-45 parallel cable
connection.
Connect the Unity Network MC network drop cable RJ-45 to the Unity Network MC
network port on the back of the ATS.
Connect the Unity Network IX network drop cable to the Unity Network IX network
port on the back of the ATS.
