NOTE
The entries under Logical Disk View are arrays that the RAID card will
manage. The proper setup for the ATS is to have one array under which both
hard drives are listed.

Check the number of entries listed under Logical Disk View.
If there are 2 entries, perform steps
If there is only 1 entry, skip to step 12. The RAID card is configured
correctly.

Click on both arrays.
NOTE
You should see that each array has one hard drive associated with it.

Using the serial number you recorded in step 1 under either
page 7-18

Right-click on the array entry that has the new hard drive associated with it, and
select Delete from the pop-up menu.
NOTE
Make sure you select the array with the new hard drive associated with it. If
you pick the array with the old hard drive associated with it, you will lose all
data on that hard drive.
9.
Select OK to the warning pop-ups about deleting all the data on the hard drive.
NOTE
Only one array should appear under Logical Disk View.
10. Verify that both hard drives appear under the array.
11. Select the array entry and verify that the status is Rebuilding. This confirms that
the information on the old hard drive is being mirrored on the new hard drive.
NOTE
If the rebuild process does not occur automatically, restart the ATS unit and
verify that the PAM application is rebuilding the new hard drive.
12. Verify that after the rebuild is complete, the 100% complete information is
displayed, and the status of the array has returned to Functional.
