11. Disconnect the alarm reset, and the chassis LED connectors from the receptacles
along the left edge of the SNMP connection board. Note the position and
orientation of the connectors for reassembly.

12. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the 4 screws securing the SNMP card to the
chassis. Note the position and orientation of the connectors for reassembly.
13. Remove the SNMP connection board.
14. If a battery is present, remove the battery.

15. Reverse the steps in this procedure to install the SNMP boards.
CAUTION
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE — Use extra care to make sure the pins
are properly aligned before seating the SNMP extension board.
Bent/broken pins may result if the pins are misaligned.

NOTE
The SNMP battery is not required and should be removed if present. No
functionality will be lost by removing the battery.
If you remove the SNMP battery, you need to do the following after a reboot:
Ensure that the Remote Service configuration is still set properly.
Configure the server for Remote Service access on page 5-10.
Verify that the serial number is correct. From Webmin, select Information >
System Information > System Information.
