General Information

Information about specifications, maintenance, trouble-
shooting, testing and repair of the diesel engine used in
the Greensmaster 3250--D is included in this chapter
and the Kubota Workshop Manual, Diesel Engine,

SM--E3B Series.

Most repairs and adjustments require tools which are
commonly available in many service shops. Special
tools are described in the Kubota Workshop Manual.
The use of some specialized test equipment is ex-
plained. However, the cost of the test equipment and the
specialized nature of some repairs may dictate that the
work be done at an engine repair facility.
Service and repair parts for the Kubota engine that pow-
ers your Greensmaster 3250--D are supplied through
your local Toro distributor. If no parts list is available, be
sure to provide your distributor with the Toro model and
serial number.

Operator's Manual

The Traction Unit Operator's Manual provides informa-
tion regarding the operation, general maintenance and
maintenance intervals for your Greensmaster machine.
Refer to the Operator's Manual for additional informa-
tion when servicing the machine.
Fuel Shut- -off Valve
This valve should be shut when removing the engine or
placing the unit in long term storage.
Diesel Engine
Because diesel fuel is flammable, use caution
when storing or handling it. Do not smoke while
filling the fuel tank. Do not fill fuel tank while en-
gine is running, hot or when machine is in an en-
closed area. Always fill fuel tank outside and
wipe up any spilled diesel fuel before starting the
engine. Store fuel in a clean, safety- -approved
container and keep cap in place. Use diesel fuel
for the engine only; not for any other purpose.
