CRANKSHAFT / PISTON / VALVES / CYLINDER BLOCK
PISTON PIN
DISASSEMBLY
1. Insert the push rod special tool into the piston pin with the
crankshaft timing belt drive pulley upward as shown.
TOOLS:
Push rod
2. Set the cutout part of the piston base special tool in the
clearance between the connecting rod and the piston as shown.
Be sure the connecting rod small end is securely set in the
cutout of the piston base special tool.
3. Remove the piston pin from the connecting rod using a hydraulic
press.

REASSEMBLY
1. Slide the piston pin over the push rod special tool and install the
guide special tool.

2. To allow for proper press operation, the piston pin and special
tools must be centered to each other. Install the piston pin with
special tools into the piston and hand tighten the knurled ends of
the special tools
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the piston pin bore during piston pin
installation, the piston pin and special tools must be centered to
each other.
